NICT and Kanazawa University Sign Agreement to Promote Collaboration

On December 11, the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) and Kanazawa University signed an "Agreement on Promotion of Collaboration".

On the day, the agreement signing ceremony was held at the Kakuma Campus by Takashi Wada President and Hideyuki Tokuda Trustee, Director of NICT.

The purpose of this agreement is to deepen the cooperative relationship between NICT and Kanazawa University, thereby contributing to the promotion of research, the development of information and communication technology in Japan, and contributions to local communities. Specifically, the two organizations will cooperate in information exchange and dissemination, joint research, education and human resource development, mutual use of research facilities, holding symposiums, and contributions to regional revitalization.

So far, NICT and Kanazawa University have collaborated on joint research in several research areas and exchanged researchers. In addition, Kanazawa University is engaged in research and education for the advent of Beyond Society 5.0, a future society that combines digital and quantum technologies. Through this timely and comprehensive collaboration agreement, we aim to strengthen our relationship in the fields of research and education in cutting-edge information and communication technologies, including cyber security, information networking, and quantum communication.
