On November 12, the Nano-Precision Medicine, Science and Engineering Graduate Program (HaKaSe? for WISE) held a symposium to report on the results of its research, entitled "Pioneering the Future Society as Visioned by Doctors and Together with Doctors," at the Ishikawa Prefectural Library. Approximately 120 people participated, including representatives from partner institutions, alumni, current students, faculty and staff of the program.

The symposium began with an opening address by President Takashi Wada, followed by a report on the program's results from Professor Rikinari Hanayama of the Nano Life Science Institute, Professor Yasuhiko Tabata of Kyoto University, who delivered a thought-provoking message on doctoral research. This was followed by lectures by Hidetoshi Shibuya, president and CEO of partner institution Shibuya Corporation, and two program alumni, Ozora Sasamoto (Assistant Professor School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Tohoku University) and Goro Nishide (Shibuya Corporation).

In the panel discussion, in addition to the speakers, the program director, Akiharu Morimoto Trustee (in charge of general affairs, university reform, education, and information), Vice President, and two current students exchanged opinions on several topics with "doctoral human resources" as a starting point.

In the poster session that followed, 18 current students made presentations on their research activities and achievements to date, as well as on the careers they envision for themselves, and deepened discussions with the participants. After the symposium, the participants gathered for an exchange party, where they reflected on their past progress and discussed their future prospects.
