Kanazawa University extracurricular activity group of volunteer students were engaged as staff in Wajima city Fair

On August 14, Kanazawa University Volunteer Support Station and its leader - Kaisei Harada, a lecturer from Institute of Human and Social Sciences, Faculty of Economics and Management participated in a summer festival fair held at Michi no Eki Wajima. Students helped with cooking shaved ice and cotton balls, scooped superballs, and handed out prizes, interacting with the children of Wajima and the residents of the temporary housing complex near the roadside station.
The event was organized by the Ishikawa Prefecture Disaster Volunteer Association, and faculty and students from Hokuriku Gakuin University jointly participated in event.
