On August 12, eight international students from Kanazawa University conducted restoration support activities at Fukami Center (former Fukami Elementary School) in Fukami-machi, Wajima City, at the request of disaster victims. Kanazawa University faculty and stuff together with students from the University of Toyama and Keio University, and students from Kanazawa Izumigaoka High School carried relief supplies, mowed the grass and distributed relief supplies at Marine Town in Wajima City.
