Health Service Center On April 22 and 30 held the "Simple Vegetable Breakfast Soup Tasting Event," a nutrition education program as part of its student support program, at the General Education Lecture Hall and the Natural Science and Technology Building.
The purpose of this tasting event was to prevent students from missing breakfast by introducing them to simple recipes for soups and other dishes. A student crew of volunteers from the center served take-out soup with recipes under the guidance of a registered dietitian. Many students came on both days, and the soups were sold out at both locations.
The menu this time was "Spring Vegetable Curry Soup with Bacon and New Potatoes" and "Butter-Scented Spring Vegetable Pork Soup". Students said about the reasons of participation in the event the following: "Besause I can buy the soups and recipes at a reasonable price", "Because I have been feeling a lack of vegetables". They also said, "Both soups were delicious. I could feel the sweetness of the vegetables and it was very spring-like", "The recipes were delicious and easy to understand"
