On June 25, Kanazawa University Senior High School Special Needs Group (work group name: Clean Kobo) worked on environmental beautification of the Heiwamachi Campus.

This campus beautification is a part of the work-learning program, and this time the students cleaned up the area around the main gate of the Heiwamachi Campus two days before junior school sport event.
The students in the work group cleaned the area with a high level of awareness, and with words of encouragement, they removed dirt using a high-pressure washer, pruned the trees, and weeded the area with great skill.

The sincere efforts of the students of the upper secondary school for special needs who commute to the Higashi Kanroku Campus to beautify the Heiwamachi Campus environment seemed to have made the kindergartners, children, and students of the attached school aware of the importance of this project and provided them with an opportunity to think for themselves.

This initiative is scheduled to be implemented several times during this school year.
