On behalf of Kanazawa University, I would like to express my condolences to those who lost their lives in the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake and my deepest sympathies to all those who were affected by the disaster. I sincerely pray for a swift return to normality.
The main examination for the Common Test for University Admissions was conducted on January 13 and 14, and supplementary examination on January 27 and 28. We implemented thorough measures, including preparations for aftershocks, and successfully completed the entire schedule. I would like to extend my profound gratitude to all those who contributed to these efforts. Additionally, University?Based Entrance Examination, including the General Selection, will be conducted as scheduled. We will continue to do our utmost to ensure the safety of examinees and to provide a safe environment for examination.
Kanazawa University, in cooperation with the national and local governments and other related organizations, will fully commit ourselves to recovery, revitalization, and support with empathy and compassion for the disaster-stricken areas and communities.
